Project Description
When Streaming Café opened its doors in 2009, streaming music over the internet had solidified its foothold, but the Kelowna, British Columbia music scene had yet to explode. Over seven years of operation on the corner of Leon and Bertram Avenues in downtown Kelowna, the live music venue Streaming Café became known as a place that puts music and artists first. In the middle of Streaming Café’s success, they added a rooftop deck to their venue. Constructed of Bison 2x2 6-Plank Ipê Smooth Wood Tiles supported by Bison Versadjust Pedestals, the deck provided a space for employees and patrons to relax and enjoy a beverage while taking in the music streaming up from the café below! In the summer of 2016, Streaming Café announced that it would be closing its store-front venue, which also operated as a coffee shop, to rebrand itself as Streaming Café Presents, becoming a musical promoter that books acts into larger venues.
