Project Description
The Andre Agassi Foundation for Education is an organization dedicated to transforming U.S. public education for under-served youth. The Foundation drives reform by engaging in practice, policy, and partnerships that provide quality education and enrichment opportunities. In 2001, the Foundation opened the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy, a public charter school that strives to provide children in Historic West Las Vegas with a first-class K-12 education to prepare them for excellence in college and beyond.
The rooftop of the Academy not only provides educators and staff with an outdoor space to relax and enjoy the scenery, it also serves as a unique outdoor classroom for an unparalleled learning experience. The rooftop deck is constructed of concrete pavers supported by Bison ScrewJack Pedestals. The desert sand colored pavers complement the Academy’s façade and surrounding Nevada landscape.
