Project Description
The George, a 12-story contemporary apartment tower featuring 194 residences, with a spacious rooftop deck and club room is located in downtown Wheaton, Maryland. The sleek apartment tower is the result of an innovative redevelopment of a 45-year-old, former office building. Located near the Metro Station which provides easy access to the D.C. metropolitan area and neighboring Silver Spring, Maryland, The George is tailored for the young professional both in the design of the residences and the communal spaces. Bison Wood Tiles can be laid in a parquet or linear pattern or mixed with other materials for unique aesthetics. The rooftop deck above The George utilizes Bison 2x2 Smooth 7-Plank Ipê Wood Tiles laid in a parquet pattern, powder-coated aluminum rock trays, and Adjustable Versadjust Pedestals.
