Designed by world-renowned architects Pelli Clarke Pelli, The Visionaire was New York City’s first LEED Platinum condominium complete with a green roof deck. This 35-story condominium demonstrates the latest green technologies and practices including energy and water conservation, indoor environment quality, and material conservation. The Visionaire is a progressive, green building masterpiece that features a green roof covering 70% of the rooftop and offers stunning views of New York City and the Hudson River. The project ended up winning the 2009 Building Type Honor citation from the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter, which recognizes innovation in specialized design fields. The condominium also achieved LEED Platinum certification, the highest level of recognition by the U.S. Green Building Council.
