Crown fountain is located at the southwest corner of Millennium Park at Michigan Avenue and Monroe Streets in Chicago. Two 50-foot glass block towers display images on LED screens of Chicago citizens while a thin layer of water ‘floats’ over decking between the towers creating the reflecting pond. Bison pedestals are utilized beneath the reflecting pond where water falls between paver spaces and circulates back through the water feature’s system. The Bison water fountain supports creates cavity space beneath decking surfaces so mechanicals needed to operate water features can be concealed.
